Your Questions About 7 Day Detox Diet

Richard asks…

SO DEPLETED OF ENERGY, What can Help?

I feel so out of energy most of the day. I KNOW I need to get more sleep. Usually it’s 7 hours. I will make that change, but anything specific I can do that will have a big impact or effect? IE: diet, Herbs, Teas, Detox, Supplement, etc?? THANKS If you would please be specific rather than broad.

Cindy answers:

Vitamin B!

David asks…

eating too much help!?

I have no will power at all at the moment. i am always 8st 4 which i feel is right for me. i dropped to 7st 6 when i met my partnet 4 1/2 years ago. i was going through a divorce and i can only begin to speculate that perhaps i wasn’t eating enough.

however now i have the oppsite problem. i can’t stop eating!!! morning noon and night. in fact by the time i go to bed i feel physically sick. i have no will power and i don’t stop to count the calories i’m consuming. obviously i’m eating too many because i’m now 9st 7 and gaining rapdly. i don’t ever feel full thats my problem. even when i’m stuffed and ready to throw up i don’t feel full. so i think perhaps i have something wrong with me!

to try and combat this what shoudl i do? i have tried eating three meals a day but i didn’t lose any weight and i still had that sickly overfull feeling afterwards…..perhaps my portions were too big. most of the time i don’t think i’m actually hungry because i pick. when i do get hungry i can’t shuvle it down my neck quick enough. i can’t wait for the meal to be cooked so i’m eating toast and biscuits etc while i’m waiting.

Trouble is how much is too much? when i calorie count and fat count and carb count a normal 3 meal a day for me it below 2000 calories. which should be right. but if i’m gaing weight from that then perhaps thats too much. but how can i cut it down? i’m already hungry between meals!

i tried the cabbage soup diet and i managed to go back down to 8st 10…..but i gained it all back on again and more as soon as i slipped back into my normal habits.

i used to smoke and skip breakfast, and then it was just a snack lunch and an evening meal of whatever. i never used to eat in between or eat choclate or any junk. it seems as soon as i start to let myself go the pounds go on really quick.

what shoudl i be eating in order to get back down a dress size??? shoudl i try the cereal diet (two meals cereal and one healthy meal) or should i try the cabbage diet again to really detox my system and kick start my eating. i need something that i can lose wait quickly and make me lose my sweet tooth and quick!

I want to lose a stone.

PLEASE HELP!

Cindy answers:

I think it’s ironic that you want to lose weight because you think you’re eating unhealthily- yet your proposed “solutions” are even more unhealthy. Please don’t try any silly diets like the “cereal diet” or “color diets” or any of that nonsense. If you’re willing to go that far, you may as well just lessen your eating or simply eat healthier food in the right portions. It really is true that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Try having a moderate breakfast, big lunch, and small dinner. Try to eat dinner several hours before you plan to go to bed. You should be concerned with exercise as well. It sounds like that isn’t a part of your daily routine and I think if you incorporate some cardio in everyday, you may see a big difference in your results. Diets and exercise always go hand in hand. Good luck.

Sharon asks…

Given up weed, how long does it take to go back to normal?

I used to smoke a lot of weed, perhaps 2 grams a day sometimes strong stuff for 5 years, and i have given it up now for nearly 7 weeks, i have seen great improvements, however i still feel really tired in the mornings and throughout the day even though i dont work an awful lot, my sleep isnt satisfying me, i have also been to the doctors for this as suspected anaemia and slightly poor diet involved too. I know it takes a full 3 months to return to normal, but im also a heavy smoker of rolling tobacco, any opinions as to which thing might be contributing the most to my chronic fatigue? can you feel so awful just based on cigarettes or do people think this is detox related? or perhaps mostly diet related? Would really love to hear any opinions especially from those who have detoxed off weed. Thank you so much for your time.

Cindy answers:

I am a former Medical Marijuana patient. When I stopped using marijuana, I just stopped. I did feel tired, but I had ignored it. Just ignore it. I never used tobacco. Eat a healthy diet, no junk food, Fresh veggies and fresh fruit, healthy meats (not sausages). Eat legumes, calciferous veggies, green yellow, and red, squash, yams, sweet potato, tree nuts, complex carbs. Avoid soda and caffeine.

Mostly veggie meal that tastes good.

One acorn squash
One can plain black beans
One can who kernel plain corn
One can grape tomatoes, plain.
Shredded Cheese

Cut acorn squash in 1/2
scoop out seeds
Put each 1/2 in microwave at high for 9 min. (Make each 1/2 separate
Fill inside with cheese, add drained grape tomatoes, microwave for 2 min..

Drain the black beans, serve cold.
Drain the beans and the corn, serve cold.
Scoop out the flesh. It is really tasty and healthy food.

You can also add stir fry chicken strips (make yourself!) Strips of chicken, stir fried, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, dill flakes or some ginger, salt to taste.

The squash is VERY filling. You will also have plenty of beans, corn, cheese, and tomato left.
