Your Questions About Body Detox Diet

Betty asks…
Can doing a detox diet delay your period?
Before I began the three-day detox diet, I feel bloated and crampy, but no period yet. I started the diet on Friday, and Saturday morning I had some light spotting/bleeding that quit through the day. Now today, there isn’t really anything except some light spotting. Today is the last day of the detox, which has been pretty intense. Friday night I had a very bad reaction to my body throwing off the toxins, but I am fine now.
So, could this diet have delayed my period or stopped it? I had been under quite a bit of stress previous to this weekend as well.
Cindy answers:
Yes it would because your body isn’t strong enough to support a baby and your body knows that.
So it really could be delayed because of that.

Robert asks…
Changing into a healthy diet from a unhealthy one. Will my body react?
I am in my mid 20s and I live on my own and haven’t been eating properly. Last week I went on a detox and started my healthy choices on the weekend. Now I feel better but in the mornings I feel like my body is reacting to the good stuff I am eating. Is this natural? I am not throwing up, not weak or sick, just my body feels warm and having lots of bowel movements.
Cindy answers:
Sounds like it’s becoming normal. Sometimes we don’t realize how wrong we were til be become right. (Hope that’s the case anyways)

Richard asks…
Do I need to detox my body before starting a diet and exercise routine?
So I’m gonna start dieting and exercising but I was wondering if I needed to detox 1st. And if so what’s the best way to do do. Is there any good diet/detox pills that work?
Cindy answers:
Your detox should be your diet! The only healthy way to detox is through a diet consisting of no meat, dairy or any kind of grain products – All fruits and veggies, preferably raw. The only thing that you should ever consume is alkalizing foods in their natural state. This also includes herbs or un-processed herbal tonics that will help to speed up detox, especially if it is healing that you are going after. No pills or fad detox programs/products that are known to be acidic in the body, as this will negate the detox/alkalizing effect.
